Ray J has music in his blood — the son of an avid gospel singer and brother of R&B songstress Brandy, it's no surprise the singer has made waves as a musician and performer. Ray J landed his first record deal in 1995 when he was only 14, and since then has released four full-length studio albums and an original soundtrack for his reality television show For the Love of Ray J. His 2013 live concerts treated ticket buyers to an energizing mix of upbeat hip-hop songs and more melodic, heartfelt R&B tunes, punctuated by his funny, charming banter. In 2013, Ray J released "I Hit It First," the lead single from his much-anticipated fifth studio album, due out in 2014.
Ray J became a familiar face in the '90s for his acting work on The Sinbad Show and Moesha, but it was his impressive musical talents that eventually brought him to stardom. His first foray into recording came in 1995 when Elektra Records released his debut full-length Everything You Want, which featured the hit “Let It Go." Ray J’s subsequent albums launched multiple tours and included additional hits like "One Wish" and "Sexy Can I." With the release of All I Feel in 2008, Ray J earned his first No. 1 album, landing atop Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Considered a renaissance man for his success in both music and television, Ray J's 2013 performances delighted fans while building anticipation for a 2014 tour.
