I was very disappointed when I arrived to see only 3 guitars and a piano. The event promo was Richard Marx, Live on stage with his band. Don't get me wrong, he was TERRIFIC but not what I purchased or expected.

Richard Marx is a living legend! I've seen him multiple times and he just gets better! HIs voice is flawless, the entire show is amazing! I can't wait to see him again when he comes around, this time I'm bringing everyone I know so they can experience how great it is!

Awesome concert and venue

Even if you are not a Richard Marx fan you would have enjoyed his concert!!! He is funny and so real!! A true artist with just playing his guitar or the piano and his gifted voice that sounds amazing!!!! I loved every minute of his show. Close the the beautiful Uptown theater are several restaurants in walking distance. We arrived early so we could get a good parking space and have dinner. My mom and I really enjoyed our evening! The Uptown Theatre is a great venue with comfortable seats and not a bad seat in the house. I would go back again for sure!!!!!

Richard Marx was a pleasant surprise

I was not familiar with much of Richard Marx's work but my wife wanted to go. I was so surprised to find a great entertainer and very personable performer. He performed solo for about 2 hours and was in great communication with the audience.He was very real and had some good songs. He threw in a video where his son's backed him up that was great. The theater was a good venue for him and the sound system was perfect.

Brilliant

Richard was unexpectedly funny. Great since of humor ! However his voice was impeccable. He sounds just as good now as he did when he debuted. What an engaging entertainer and encouraged audience participation. Would definitely go see him again!
