Rising Croatian DJ and producer San Pacho is making a name for himself in the house music scene with his seductive and worldly soundscapes. Born Patrik Skalec, he previously performed under the name Pascal before launching the San Pacho project in 2019.
Growing up in Croatia, Skalec was influenced and inspired by the Mediterranean Sea near his home and spending time in nature. Music-filled summer beach parties were a common occurrence, which fueled his interest in exploring electronic music. His passion was further sparked by his dad's mixtape CDs, which contained music by Daft Punk and Dutch house DJ Fedde Le Grand.
When Skalec heard deadmau5 for the first time, everything clicked, and he knew he wanted to pursue a career in music. He proceeded to spend hours in the studio teaching himself the art of production and DJing, and took his moniker from a nickname friends gave him.
San Pacho has released songs through Dim Mak and UKF, and signed to deadmau5's house-focused imprint hau5trap in 2022. He performed his first live concerts in 2023, bringing his tour to cities like Denver and Washington, DC.
