Discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell while they were still in high school, co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald have turned Slightly Stoopid from adolescent upstart to one of the most successful summer festival bands on the circuit. Known for their eclectic mix of rock, reggae, punk, funk, and hip-hop, the band's eight members deliver a beachy, vibey live concert that never fails to delight their devoted following. Their most recent album, 2012's Top of the World, was also their most successful to date, peaking at No. 4 on Billboard’s Alternative and Rock Albums charts and earning praise for its sonic ingenuity and ambitious exploration of styles. The band has shared the stage with such acts as the Dave Matthews Band, The Roots, and Sublime, treating ticket buyers to regular appearances at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Slightly Stoopid has toured every summer since 2007, and fans can catch them on the road again.
