Her prodigious talents soon led her to relocate to Nashville, where she began performing around town. Following her grandfatherÕs death, she decided to adopt his surname and began recording demos under the name TORRES. She released her self-titled debut album on the eve of her 22nd birthday in 2013, making her live debut as TORRES just a few weeks later. The mature album belied the singerÕs age and earned her amazing write-ups from outlets like Pitchfork, Beats Per Minute, and Drowned in Sound. The album earned more rave reviews for the singer for her improved confidence, while the groupÕs increased cohesion has fans buzzing about her live performances. With this precocious talent already thrilling critics at her young age, nowÕs the perfect time to catch TORRES in concert.
