Mind Blown
I barely got 2 tickets, and that was after 3rd show added! So grateful - I’ve been to many concerts but this rates up there as one of the best ‘evah! The music & showmanship speaks for itself - their use of multimedia is beyond compare !!!!!!!

While they did keep us waiting before they finally came out 45 minutes after the scheduled start, this show just might have been the greatest performance of the year

U2 Tulsa
U2 has been the last concert on my bucket list for awhile. I have been very fortunate to be able to see some amazing concerts by all my favorite artists. I have been told that U2 puts on an amazing show and have wanted to see them. I was NOT disappointed!!!! It was visually amazing. The stage is awesome. The music was great. I would pay to go see them again in a heartbeat!!!! Thanks for coming to Tulsa and the BOK Center.

U2 = Outstanding
A very well produced concert; use of multiple stages, lighting and video effects were incredibly well done. The band was terrific: played over 25 songs, seemed to hit all their marks perfectly and appeared to be having fun. Sound quality wasn't always the best especially for being in a venue with excellent acoustics but it was first show of the tour so easily forgiven. As with other U2 tours, there was some political content which may not be agreed with. Should be easy to put that aside and still enjoy the show if you appreciate their passion and creativity.

Spectacular Event
The show started about 30 minutes after the scheduled time, but that was OK as people were still filtering into the arena. The app and stage setup was out of this world. No matter where you sat (except at the very ends of the stadium, your view of the band was incredible. The light shows, moving catwalk, and music were just awe inspiring. Since this was the first show in the tour, I am sure it will only get better.

U2 Opening night Tulsa,Ok
For anyone who has been to a U2 concert, you already know that they try to give you a great show. This one lived up to Great. People from different parts of the globe traveled to the Heartland of America to take part in an evening that will stay with them for possibly the rest of their lives. Am I biased ? Probably, I have been a fan from the early days. This show doesn't focus on the expected hits, I am sure that happened on the Joshua Tree tour, but rather brings out some songs that may not get the attention they deserve. The band was in great form and Bono kept it all going ,as he does, with a little fire from his heart and some moments shared from his soul. It was a night that I hated to see end....It was kind of like Christmas in a way, you get the excitement of the day coming, the day arrives and you take part in the festivities and by the end you may be a little exhausted and saddened because it went by too fast but there is a chance that you captured a little magic out of the experience that will stay with you for years to come....

Good not great!
All things considered for U2 I felt like this was a good concert but not great. Bono sounded muffled at times, the stage(s) set up was cool but didn't allow for me to see everything all the time, but of most concern is the fact that security had given up on screening upon entry. Apparently a little before 8, the lines were so long that they stopped using the metal detectors and screening. YIKES!! I would have to think the band would not be too pleased to know this. I would see again, and have to remember they are getting older too, but overall I felt like it was a "practice" show.
Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.
