Never disappoints
Purposely didn’t read any reviews of the Tulsa show before this one. If you read this before your show. I’ll leave it at you won’t be disappointed. Totally different from last year’s JT show in Chicago. Came to this show in St. Louis as the “replacement” for last year’s cancelled JT show for which I had tickets.

U2 is always great. But if you want to go watch a band play on TV then this is your show. Due to the size of the screen it basically is just watching them play on the big screen. Song choices are hard with such a vast catalog but in the end the song choices were not the best. The end needs work, as Bono just walks out of the arena and doesn't say thank you, goodbye, kiss my butt or anything, just walked out. No encore. Not the best U2 show I have been to but I'll go again.

Opening Night in TULSA!
As a long time U2 Fan and person who has traveled to see their live shows, I was so happy to have them close to home for a change. And, to open their tour here, made it all the more special. The stage is SPECTACULAR! Their commintment to the latest technology never ceases to amaze me. They sounded great. Bono is a true rock star and his voice is perfection. Most of the songs played in this set list are off of the Songs of Experience CD. But, I like this songs off this album, so I was happy with it. If you are coming to this U2 show to hear the greatest hits, then this is not the show for you. But, if you are a true U2 fan or want to get an idea what they are about as a band, this is a must see.

U2 rocks again!!!
Loved the opening and the new material. Very different concert since they did not play some of the usual songs from the past. A lot of similarities to their last tour but enough new that it kept you engaged. Visual effects continue to push the envelope. U2 continues to raise the bar. Hope they release the concert on DVD.

HORRIBLE EFFORT! TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN TOUR!
FOR THE PRICE OF ADMISSION AND BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THE CITY OF ST. LOUIS WAS RIPPED OFF THE LAST TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO PERFORM, IT WAS A DISGRACE! EVERYTHING THEY DO NOWADAYS IS TOTALLY STAGED, TOTALLY SEEMS LIKE SOUND IS BEING PIPED IN TOO TO MAKE EVERYTHING SEEM LOUDER! COULD NOT PLAY JOSHUA TREE MATERIAL TO MAKE UP. IT SHOULD BE RENAMED THE TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN TOUR!!!!

I miss the old U2
I had always wanted to see U2 but waited too long. This was NOT a greatest hits type show and wish I knew that BEFORE.

A mix of old and new
Despite the inclusion of newer somgs, the classics are still the best. Sunday bloody sunday with the backdrop was a magical moment.

Not as good as they used to be?
I was not impressed. The middle screen was annoying and the sound was awful!

Great show, except for the sound
The show was great, U2 is a great band and the show was great. The whole experience was great. The only thing that was not as I would expect was the sound, it was hard to understand Bono when he sang or spoke, to much distortion. Nevertheless a great experience.
Few bands in rock music history have reached the level of superstardom (and have maintained the staying power) of Dublin-based band U2. Due to a winning combination of innovative, ever-evolving songwriting, spectacular live shows, and front-man Bono's penchant for political/humanitarian endeavors, U2 have managed to remain an A-list act since emerging onto the music scene with their debut album Boy in 1980. With phenomenal album sales (every album they've released since 1987's The Joshua Tree has hit Billboard's number one spot), a plethora of hit singles ("New Years Day, " "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Pride," "I Still haven't Found What I'm looking For," "With or Without You," "Mysterious Ways," Beautiful Day," -- and the list goes on) U2 have established themselves as the premier rock band of the 1980s and far beyond. Their sound has evolved from post-punk (guitarist The Edge created a signature sound with his sweeping, delay-heavy guitar work), to arena rock, to blues-inspired rock, to electronic/techno pop and back again. With their 2005 release, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 treat fans to sounds both classic and new-- reminding us exactly why these Dubliners have managed to become one of the most successful bands in rock history.
