Washington Football Team at FedExField
Prepare for a spirited fan experience at FedExField during a Washington Football Team game. The team's marching band, one of only two professional football marching bands in the country, greets fans at the gate for a rousing pre-game show. Then, during half-time, the band leads the stadium in singing the team's fight song, which ensures that the excitement and momentum continue through the second half.
Patrons of FedExField comment on the helpful staff and respectful patrons, all of whom ensure that fans can enjoy every minute of the game. From the moment the team comes onto the field until the last second on the clock, visitors cheer for their home team and favorite players. All the action is captured on massive 100-foot-long HD TV screens, and Wi-Fi access throughout the venue ensures fans can share their experience online.

Many young players had impressive seasons in 2020, led by rookie receiver Terry McLaurin's 919 yards. Running back Adrian Peterson finished with 898 rushing yards in 2019 and is fifth among career rushing leaders at 14,216 yards behind Barry Sanders.
Washington Football Team History
Even the most devoted fans are often surprised to hear that the Washington Football Team (formerly known as the Washington Redskins) was founded as the Boston Braves in 1932. It wasn't until 1937 that they moved to Washington, where they won their first D.C. game against the New York Giants. The team boasts five Super Bowl appearances, which include three wins and two losses. Their last visit to the Super Bowl was in 1991, when they defeated the Buffalo Bills with a score of 37–24.
In 2017, Forbes ranked the Washington Football Team as the fourth most valuable team in the NFL at $3.1 billion, behind only the New York Giants, the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots. The Washington Football Team's passionate fans certainly make it so.
