This was an awesome show from a band that I love in a very beautiful venue in Syracuse NY. This is one of the bands that got me into hard rock.

AIC - Amazing in Concert!
I have been waiting to see Alice in Chains for 21 years! Jerry is really the foundation of the band, but much credit is also due to Mike, Sean, and Will. The set was disappointingly short (we traveled three hours, and they played about an hour and a half), but each and every song performed was great. Sweet lighting. The venue was decent, I could generally see from where I was (except when people stood up). A small gripe: Pricey drinks. A huge gripe: Security told us personally, individually (half way through the show!) that we could not record video with our phones. That was super distracting. Yeah...... why it was ok for 45 minutes and later not, I have no idea but my imagination ran away and put me very much on edge (Why? What was about to happen that they did not want documented?). You might want to fix that for next time.

This was a great show. They play all the favorites and sound as good as they did 25 years ago.

Fantastic show
Alice In Chains put on an absolutely flawless live show that included every single one of their best songs. The sound was superb. The vocals were spot on. As a band, they couldn’t be more tight. This is a must see for anyone who ever liked a single one of their songs.

Alice In Chains put on an excellent show! Both bands were awesome! The light show was also a treat and the crowd was also enjoyable. If given the chance I would definitely go see them again !

AIC blows roof off Edwardian Opera House
So glad I drove the 150 miles to see Alice in Chains in this cool Gilded-Age masterpiece of a theatre. Reminded me of the Troy Music Hall, only it's bigger and the seats are better. I had Row K, Orchestra Left. The sound was good but extremely loud. I've been to The Who three times and can't remember my ears being screwed up for two days after, but maybe I'm getting old. SO much better than seeing them in a big hockey arena. Only downside is the beer wait, which was a good 20-25 minutes long. They made up for it by having delicious Fiddlehead IPA rather than local Genny crap. Would definitely come back.

Landmark is a great venue, I was dissapointed in the concert they were quite honestly boring and robotic, dissappointed

Alice in Chains was true to sound! Amazing show!
The venue was good, though I see that The Landmark Theatre is in need of some TLC. The Alice in Chains performance was fantastic. Great sound and visual effects!

Alice in Chains in Concert
Five years after their original frontman, Layne Staley, died of a drug overdose, Alice in Chains made an unlikely return in 2007. Surviving band members Jerry Cantrell, Mike Inez, and Sean Kinney recruited frontman William DuVall to join the group, first for some well-received concerts, then to go on tour. Next came a new album, 2009's "Black Gives Way To Blue," which got glowing reviews, entered The Billboard 200 at No. 5, and led to more shows with fast-moving tickets. In 2013, the band released their second post-Staley album, this time reaching No. 2 on The Billboard 200. The only AIC album to chart higher was 1995's self-titled set -- the band's last with Staley -- which reached No. 1.
Alice in Chains' dark take on rock emerged from the same late '80s Seattle scene that also spawned fellow grunge acts Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden, among others. With Staley at the helm, the band recorded rock radio staples like "Rooster," "Heaven Beside You," "Got Me Wrong," and "Would?" The band has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards -- including two with DuVall on the mic -- but so far haven't won an award.
Hard rock legends Korn and Alice in Chains announced an epic co-headline amphitheater tour across North America in the summer of 2019. Underoath joins as special guest on all dates, with Ho99o9 and FEVER 333 opening on select dates.
