Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium
State Farm Stadium is a prime example of sophisticated engineering, technology, and design. Regarded as one of the finest venues in sports, it features both a retractable roof and retractable natural grass playing field. The field allows flexibility to transform State Farm Stadium from a football-ready field to an unrestricted stadium floor in less than an hour at the push of a button. Opened in 2006, the stadium was designed to host Super Bowls, blockbuster concerts, NCAA tournaments, and numerous other entertainment events and activities. The world-class venue attracts record crowds for the franchise and allowed the team to sell-out every game played at the venue to date. The stadium served as the site of three Super Bowls, including two of the most-watched Super Bowls in history - Super Bowl XLII between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots and Super Bowl XLIX between the Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.

Arizona Cardinals Team History
Founded in 1898 as the Morgan Athletic Club, the club holds the distinction of being the United States' oldest professional football franchise still in existence. The team joined the NFL as the Chicago Cardinals as a charter member in 1920, and some of the most iconic players in NFL history have worn the Cardinals uniform. That list that includes Hall of Famers such as safety Larry Wilson, defensive back Dick "Night Train" Lane, cornerback Roger Wehrli, tackle Dan Dierdorf, cornerback Aeneas Williams and 2017 HOF inductee quarterback Kurt Warner. While their history is a long and storied one, the Cardinals are currently enjoying one of their most exciting and successful stretches ever - one that coincided with the opening their stadium in 2006. Since beginning play at the venue, Arizona has earned three division titles, two NFC Championship Game appearances and its first-ever Super Bowl appearance. State Farm Stadium has also given Arizona one of the NFL's most distinct home field advantages. From 2013-2017, the Cardinals posted a streak of five consecutive seasons with a winning record at home, which represents the longest such streak in team history. The noise provided by sellout crowds at that stadium have resulted in opposing teams accumulating 158 false start penalties from 2006-2017, the most for any home team in the NFL during that span. The Cardinals overall success has also been historic, as the team's 50 total wins from 2013-17 represent the highest win total for any five-year stretch in franchise history.
