I wasn’t really sure who they were, but I bought the tickets for my dad for Fathers Day. Turned out the band was awesome! With Ray Benson standing at over 6’7”, 67 years old still shredding the guitar with his fiddles in the background was incredible! Very bluesy, bluegrass style. Loved it. Venue was smaller than expected which was great for those not liking crowds. Will be going back to the Aura.

Asleep at the Wheel, masters of Texas Swing

For someone who loves Texas swing and country-western music this group is superb. They are very versatle and can “jam” on traditional and modern country. Their leader, Ray Benson seems to like Maine as they play up here every now and then. The group can be heard often on Willies Road House on Sirius radio.
